Cathryn A. Glenday, MPH, MA, LPCC, CGCS

Owner and Clinical Director

Cathryn is a psychotherapist, health educator and advocate for persons with disabilities. Cathryn recently added training in grief counseling to her skill set and is now a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist. She has 41 years of lived experience with a mobility disorder. Cathryn received her public health degree from the University of Texas, School of Public Health in Houston, and got her clinical training at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Her psychotherapy experience includes AIDS Health Project at UC San Francisco and San Francisco General Hospital, multiple community agencies providing mental health services for children, teens and adults and Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, CA. Cathryn has been trained to use many therapeutic tools ranging from Behavior Modification, CBT, to Depth Psychotherapy and Transpersonal Psychotherapy. Cathryn attended UC, San Diego for college and has post graduate training in Biomedical Sciences from the UT Medical School at Houston. .She will be happy to provide her full CV upon request.


Cathryn has been writing since grade school and is a published poet. Cathryn includes creative expression in her work with clients. She is learning to garden and grow roses. Cathryn loves to cook healthy meals, usually plant based. Cathryn came to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2015 and has chosen to make this state her home because she loves the sky and creativity in New Mexico.
